One America 500 Festival Mini-Marathon
Date 5th of May in Indianapolis Indiana.
This is one of the largest half marathons in America. It is unique because each wave of runners follows IndyCar. Also, runners also run a lap round the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the course of the race
Date 16th of June, Duluth Minnesota
This unique race started in 1977 and had turned to a tradition in Minnesota since then. The race has gone from a race for just 150 people to accommodate almost 10,000 participants. The name got its name from the Grandma’s Restaurant which was a local business that first sponsored the race. Anchorage Mayor’s Marathon and Half Marathon: Date 23rd of June in Anchorage Alaska. You can get to celebrate the longest day of the year, the summer solstice by going to Alaska to participate or join in the Anchorage Mayor’s Marathon and Half Marathon. Once you have chosen from any of the five distances offered in the race, you can get to any of the Summer Solstice Festival near you and celebrate.
